    we receive fresh, organic fruit & veg from ORGANIC NORTH (MANCHESTER UK) - a cooperative who provide a platform for independent, organic farms across the UK.
    together, we aim to fix the wasteful food system and feed our community chemical-free food.

  • SOURDOUGH BREAD

    we source locally made sourdough, baked fresh-that-morning with organic flours and a lot of love.
    please note sourdough is only available wednesday through to saturday and it sells out... fast!

  • COFFEE, CAKES, BAKES & PASTRIES

    chill upstairs or take treats away with you, alongside our barista-made coffee & loose leaf teas, we stock:

HOW TO FIND US

2020 to 2021

ROOTSTOCK was born with humble beginnings! From a garage, to a shed - we set up shop in the pandemic, wanting to serve our community sustainable goods and create connection, in a time when distance was promoted.

We lived here for over a year next to our neighbours, Bollington Brewery, and traded through rain or shine! And let us tell you; it was blimmin' cold!

2022

In 2022, we joined Mother Nature Sanctuary in their beautiful space (now Bollington Yoga) for a year and opened a sustainable store within the ground floor of their blissful yoga studio.

Here, we grew both our trade and our team, from two to three.

2023

ROOTSTOCK closed for 6 months whilst we renovated The Old Florist at 68 Palmerston St.

We've now more than doubled our team, making sure we're a smooth operation for all things organic!

ROOTSTOCK is now an established cornerstone of the community as an organic grocer, refill shop, coffeeshop and event space.
